1% For The Planet
As we are all members of Earth, we are proudly a member of 1% For The Planet. For every bottle of Pantalones Organic Tequila sold, we will donate 1% of our revenue to environmental non-profit partners. This expanding international network of businesses (like Pantalones), non-profit organizations, and amazing individuals are striving to address and correct the various critical issues that impose our environment. Without this planet, where else would you be able to cheers with a loved one on a Saturday Night?
Surfrider Foundation
At Pantalones Organic Tequila, we believe doing good is part of the fun. We’re proud partners with the Surfrider Foundation, a grassroots environmental non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s ocean, waves, and beaches, for all people, through a powerful activist network. The Surfrider Foundation has been at the forefront of ocean protection for 40 years, advocating for clean water and healthy beaches. As part of this partnership, we co-host community beach cleanups on the East and West Coasts, in addition to the Gulf of Mexico, putting our commitment to environmental stewardship into action. These cleanups are a team effort between Pantalones Organic Tequila employees and local coastal communities, reinforcing our dedication to preserving our ocean and coastlines.
BioPall By Green Loop
Doing good for the planet starts from the ground up, or in this case, the pallet up. We’re using upcycled agave pallets for shipping, working with BIOPALL by Green Loop. Green Loop is pioneering agave upcycling solutions for tequila brands around the world. The hybrid BIOPALL is a pallet made with 35% agave fiber and 65% wood that is FSC-certified, being managed under an environmentally appropriate supervision that ensures wood production maintains the forest's biodiversity, productivity and ecological processes. This alternative to traditional pallets not only reduces waste from the tequila manufacturing process but also minimizes tree logging, contributing to a circular economy model.
4th Generation Agave Farmers
The picturesque valley, affectionately known as “El Valle”, amidst the fertile embrace of rich volcanic soil is where our organic agave plants thrive and lend their exquisite complexity to the taste of our Tequila. Our partners in Mexico are 4th generation agave farmers and have been growing and caring for over 7,000 acres of agave since the 1920’s; they are also 2nd generation Tequila producers. In our commitment to caring for the land, we are proud members of 1% for the Planet, donating 1% of the sales of every bottle sold to environmental charities. As part of our commitment to the environment, we strive to be zero waste - after the completion of the distillation process, we upcycle our agave fibers (bagasse) and remaining liquid (vinasse) for composting.

What It Means To Be Organic
The word Organic, has become a buzz word but we put our piñas where our mouth is with an unwavering commitment to sustainability. We prioritize our environment by proudly refraining from using pesticides or chemicals with any harmful residues that could harm the delicate balance of water, soil, and air. Our agave plants grow naturally and happily without the use of accelerators or chemical nutrients. Pesticides or Herbicides are not in our repertoire to ensure our agave’s purity and authenticity. It’s a labor of love that is holistically focused on the final juice that is bottled but most importantly to preserve the land it is grown on.
Certified Gluten Free
More than a dietary preference, our Organic Tequila proudly carries the USDA -approved Certified Gluten-Free label. More than a fancy label, this distinction ensures our product undergoes rigorous testing and adheres to the highest standards, providing peace of mind to those amigos and amigas who may have gluten sensitivities. Everyone wears pants, and by offering a Tequila free from gluten contamination, we can be sure Pantalones Organic Tequila is for everyone.
